When you use our keyword search tool, we log the search query and your IP address for rate limiting purposes. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address via Mailchimp. We do not collect names, payment information, or any other personal data.
IP addresses are used solely to enforce our free daily lookup limit (5 searches per day per IP). Search queries may be aggregated anonymously to understand usage patterns. Email addresses are used to send tool updates and SEO tips. We never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
We use minimal cookies for essential site functionality only. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. If you subscribe to our newsletter, a cookie may be set to remember your preference.
We use Vercel for hosting, Upstash Redis for rate limiting, and Mailchimp for email. Each of these services has their own privacy policy. Keyword volume data is retrieved via the Google Ads API. No personal data is sent to Google as part of these requests.
IP-based rate limit data is automatically deleted after 24 hours. Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. We do not retain individual search query logs.
You may request deletion of your email address at any time by emailing hello@searchvolume.net or clicking unsubscribe in any email we send. Under GDPR, if you are based in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you.
